Background

Nancy A. Barbour worked for 13 years in academia after honorably serving her country in the US Army for 3 years, and thereafter earning an undergraduate degree in natural resource management on a full scholarship. She worked for 2 years at MIT and 11 years at Harvard University in the fields of occupational health and safety, and facilities administration, management and construction. She earned a master's degree in education while working full-time. She left Harvard in 2000 to realize her life-long dream of becoming an attorney and helping people through her knowledge of the law.

In 2003, she graduated from Massachusetts School of Law with a Juris Doctorate, and shortly thereafter began a family with the birth of her wonderful son! She took the Massachusetts bar exam in February 2004 and passed at the first sitting. Once she had her law license in hand, she began her own practice, and has been helping people resolve their legal issues ever since.

She is licensed to practice law in all of the state courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts.
